Given Gucci’s recent spike in popularity, it’s very possible Rita Ora and Beyoncé happened to pick the same Spring 2016 look from the runway. But fans are speculating otherwise. After Rita posted a Snapchat selfie of her Tezenis bra, complete with two lemons and accessorized with a Jennifer Fisher “R” pendant necklace (which the internet’s mistaken for a “J” given the mirrored effect of a camera), she stepped out in the same red Gucci design Beyoncé wore in her “Formation” video.
The only difference? Rita wore her collar unbuttoned, so as to reveal a slip of her yellow lingerie. While there’s no denying these splashy coordinates are fun, they’re also quite suggestive: Rita might be using her outfits to send a message to Beyoncé. Is she “Becky with the good hair,” aka Jay Z’s other woman? Rita was the rapper’s former protégé. But since we may never reach an answer to that question, for now, she’s just Rita with the Gucci dress. Scroll to see Queen Bey work the ensemble too.
There’s a certain childlike giddiness that overcomes most adult consumers when they discover that another one of their mundane, inanimate everyday objects has received something of a Steve Jobs treatment—it talks! It listens! It knows where I go and how I feel! Such was the case at the Vogue offices this week, when editors discovered a covetable new line of truly smart luggage called Raden. The suitcases—created by Josh Udashkin, a former lawyer and wholesale developer for Aldo—come in a 22-inch carry-on size or a 28-inch check-in size and seven colors, range in price from $295 to $595, and are the answers to your luggage prayers. Each piece comes with built-in Bluetooth technology that tracks your bag via a connected app that can also tell you how much your bag weighs once it’s packed and what the fees will be if it’s overstuffed. The app also offers services like showing current TSA wait times, real-time flight schedule alerts, and the current traffic on the routes to and from the airport. The bags also have a small, concealed charging pack for your phone, tablet, or laptop.

Raden luggage is currently available through the company’s website and most recently, a chic pop-up store in Soho. (They don’t actually stock the bags, but you can test them out and order on-site.) Aside from the fact that these suitcases have their own TSA-approved batteries and a dedicated app, they’re also brilliantly designed, with hard-shell cases available in a super-durable shiny or matte Makrolon polycarbonate material, and weighing in at a light 7.5 pounds or 11.2 pounds depending on the size. They all feature a completely monochrome look with every handle, zipper, and seam done in the same color of white, black, navy, light blue, lavender, light pink, or forest green (with more colors on the way).
In other words, if Rimowa and Apple had a baby, this is what it might look like. With Raden, it’s definitely time to get excited about an old product made completely new.

We’ve tried out many different airport outfits: tapered sweats paired with a bomber, a long sweater that ends up tangling into a knot once we’re in our seat, and the list goes on. But the one look that promises style and free range of movement is a black silk jumpsuit finished with flats. Victoria Beckham’s helping us make our case. She made her way through LAX in the most simple pieces, including a wide-leg, palazzo-style design, white loafers, and dark sunglasses.
If she was headed someplace warm, Victoria would be dressed for the temperature and kept cool in satin. And even if she wasn’t, she’d be cozy on the plane in functional pants. Plus, leather shoes add just enough polish to keep things sophisticated. Read on to get inspired by her travel outfit, then shop for what you need.

A musical genius. A Fashion icon. A true artist.
It was just a few months ago that we spied Gucci’s latest It bag, the Dionysus, on the arms of some of Hollywood’s chicest women: Beyoncé, Dakota Johnson, and Sienna Miller among them. Now it appears that the Italian house has done it again with its reinterpretation of the ’80s-influenced shopper bag. Fresh from the Fall 2016 runway, the XL leather tote bag features an artistic touch, courtesy of musician and snowboarder Trevor Andrew (also known as GucciGhost), who has since gone on to work for the brand’s creative director, Alessandro Michele. And the first A-lister seen sporting the new bag was none other than Madonna, spotted in New York earlier this week.
The singer has long been muse to designers from Jean Paul Gaultier to Marc Jacobs, and here she marries a militaristic influence—note the button placket on her jacket—with a streetwear vibe. Gucci’s tote adds a polished yet lo-fi effect, which is further reinforced by a Louis Vuitton logo scarf. And while we will likely have to wait until fall for more sightings of Michele’s latest creations, leave it to music’s original fashion chameleon to lead the pack with this edgy, luxurious look.
It’s not every day we see Victoria and David Beckham step out for a lunch date. But we couldn’t have asked for a better street style moment from the pair, who dined at Nobu in Malibu, CA, in some very laid-back looks. While David looked like the modern male model he is — sporting a crewneck sweatshirt, trousers, slip-on sneakers, and a backward baseball cap — Victoria selected summertime pieces we imagine she’s had in her wardrobe for a while.
The stylish designer wore washed-out R13 skinny jeans, a loose silk tank, a contrast fedora, and — get this — flip-flops. While Victoria’s already confirmed her love for flats, we didn’t expect her to choose such casual sandals. On the other hand, Victoria is so used to showing off her luxe outfits, it’s nice to see her indulge in a relaxed style moment like this one — even if it does feel a bit dated. Read on for a lesson from Victoria on refreshing old staples for Spring, and then shop your way to Beckham fashion bliss.
