Wynter Society: Two Powerhouse Families Host A Masquerade Ball For Charity

Standard

This week two of fashion’s first families came together to raise money for the sinking city of Venice. Moda Operandi founder Lauren Santo Domingo and her husband and Andrés Santo Domingo chaired the annual black tie masquerade alongside his sister-in-law, British royal Lady Charlotte and his brother Alejandro Santo Domingo. Andrés and Alejandro’s mom, Colombian socialite Beatrice Santo Domingo served as an honorary chair with Annette de la Renta, the late fashion designer Oscar de la Renta‘s wife. And, Oscar de la Renta’s daughter Eliza Bolen, who serves as executive vice president of the iconic fashion house, chaired the gala with her husband Alex Bolen, the Chief Executive Officer at Oscar de la Renta, Ltd.

The Park Avenue Armory Celebrates ‘The Hairy Ape’Save Venice is always the most glamorous gala of the season, but the force of these two families brought out an even more spectacularly dressed and generous crowd. This year’s Dangerous Beauty-themed party at The Pierre on April 7th raised over $1 million to save and restore architecture and art that would have otherwise perished through climate change.
